kitchen with white cabinets, white marble countertops, and white walls

Queen Anne

12 years after our 1st go-round decorating this home, our client returned to us to do a full refresh including gutting the kitchen and the master bath. This time, our clients asked for a more airy Scandinavian inspired palette. We paired modern architectural details with classic moments (like the blue French Le Corneau range)...a nod to the home’s 1920s bones. In the kitchen simple handle-less European style cabinets are topped with marble. The large new raw oak window bathes the kitchen in light and connects it to the back yard. The bathroom then repeats the same white oak and marble with an Italian Agape tub as the anchor, a modern take on the classic claw foot.

The client’s own art collection (often rotated) is center stage in all the rooms with furnishings that are both clean and contemporary and comprised of both new and vintage, mindfully collected and curated over time.
