Established in 2004, we are a boutique firm with roots in the East Coast and Seattle, united by a shared love for enhancing older homes and creating new ones inspired by historic craftsmanship. Our diverse backgrounds and expertise enable us to undertake projects across various locations, bringing our unique blend of both modern and traditional elements to a wide array of homes. We believe in the art of authenticity, meticulously incorporating handcrafted, antique, and bespoke elements into our designs that reflect the lifestyles of our clients.
Founder and Principal Designer Lisa Staton developed an early appreciation for historically resonant spaces while growing up among Boston’s Back Bay brownstones, colonial saltboxes, and Gilded Age coastal homes - an influence that continues to shape her work today. After working in public relations and the auction world in New York and Boston, she transitioned into interior design, honing her perspective through studies at the Rhode Island School of Design before founding her eponymous firm.
Her work is rooted in authenticity, blending handcrafted, antique, and bespoke elements to create spaces that feel deeply personal and timeless. Viewing design as a collaborative process, she works closely with architects, builders, artisans, and clients to bring each project to life. When not transforming spaces, Lisa enjoys antiquing, gardening, long walks through her historic neighborhood, and experimenting in the kitchen - pursuits that continue to inform and inspire her work..
